THINGS TO DO

Sylvania Park Mohair Farm offers a holiday with an experience in a unique and secluded environment. Guests have the option of being involved in farm activities, participating in a farm tour of the property or just relaxing in the peaceful rural environment.

Farm Tours:

• Learn about Angora Goats; their origin, husbandry and products
• Watch a goat being shorn and feel its fibre.
• Browse in our craft shop with products ranging from mohair teddies, dolls wigging, Christmas stockings, mohair rugs and blankets.
• Cuddle an adorable Angora Kid and feed it a bottle of milk.
• Watch our sheep dogs at work.
• Feed the hens and collect their eggs.
• Watch the maremma stock guard dogs at work, protecting their goats from predators.
  
  

  Bookings are required for farm tours.

  Cost is $6 per person. (Minimum charge $20)
  Visits to our farm are perfect for coach tours.
